Our Flair adventure began in 2010 when our founder Holly needed to make a little extra Christmas money for her small, growing family. She planned a small "craft show" with her mom and aunt in their family barn just outside of Salinas and invited their friends. The little show was so well received that people were begging to join as vendors the following year. A new tradition was born...
With each show, more and more people grew in love with Flair. In 2012, a Spring show was added to our schedule. A Flair committee was formed to help with the planning of each show. In 2015, with anticipation of a huge crowd, we moved our holiday Flair at the very last minute to the Monterey County Sheriff's Posse Grounds. Our show continued to grow so incredibly that we moved again... to town for our 2018 show! Our 2019 Holiday Flair will be held again at the Salinas Sports Complex in Salinas.
Because of our founding family's strong farming background, roots are important to us. Flair was started from a basic need of friends supporting friends. We strive with each show to support our community by providing our Flair shoppers with a variety of local goodness. Whether our vendors are a small arts and crafter or a local small business, our goal is to give an opportunity for our community to support each other. The Flair committee is beyond humbled to serve our community with this opportunity plus donate our proceeds to local non-profits. We truly believe "when you are blessed, be a blessing!"
Thank you for all the love and support our Flair friends have shown us during this incredible journey of our homegrown craft show!
